Apply for Quebec Skilled Worker Program through the new Arrima Portal
The new online portal Arrima for Quebec Skilled Worker Program has been opened from September 18, 2018 for the candidates to apply for the immigration program. For those who wish to receive Canada permanent residency through this program will now need to make a profile on the online portal, Arrima to show their interest to the Government of Quebec. Arrima is the initiative of Expression of Interest (EOI) Program which was launched by the government of Quebec in August. Under this system, the interested candidates are required to fill in all there information like their education, area of training, proficiency in French and other languages and work experience, among other details on the portal. Canada All Set to Increase Applications for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Program
The number of applications under the parents and grandparents sponsorship program will soon increase from 10,000 to whopping 17,000. The announcement came on August 2nd, 2018, from Canada’s Immigration Minister, Ahmed Hussen. The news is in accordance with the announcement by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) earlier this month, which suggested the government’s plans on inviting potential sponsors who had previously filed an Interest to Sponsor form between January 2, 2018 and February 1, 2018. The move to increase the number of applications will help achieve the immigration goals set by the Government of Canada. In a new revelation, Express Entry candidates, if all goes as planned, will have a chance to serve as early educators and assistants from August 8, 2018 courtesy of new Labour Market Priorities Stream. New Express Entry Draw maintains the trend of 3,750 ITAs
In the latest express entry draw, 3,750 candidates were given ITS (Invitation to Apply) for Canada Permanent Residence. The draw was held on July 11 and the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System set for the draw was 442. The minimum CRS for the latest draw was similar to the invitation round held on June 25 and the number of ITAs given were also the same as on June 13 and June 25, 2018. The candidates who submitted their profile before June 26, 2018 at 13:18:55 UTC and had a minimum CRS score of 442 and above received an invitation in this round. Despite the large draw size, the minimum score did not change between the two draws. This could be because of the fact that more than two weeks elapsed between the draws held on June 25 and July 11 ITA round. SINP reopens its gate for Express Entry sub-category inviting 500 new applications
As announced on July 5, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program has reopened its International Skilled Worker Express Entry Program for 500 new applicants. The interested candidates who are applying through Express Entry sub-category of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program must first enter through the federal Express Entry System. The application in the most sought-after program in the federal Express Entry aligned sub-category will be accepted on first-come, first-served basis.
