In the latest express entry draw, 3,750 candidates were given ITS (Invitation to Apply) for Canada Permanent Residence. The draw was held on July 11 and the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System set for the draw was 442.
The minimum CRS for the latest draw was similar to the invitation round held on June 25 and the number of ITAs given were also the same as on June 13 and June 25, 2018.
The candidates who submitted their profile before June 26, 2018 at 13:18:55 UTC and had a minimum CRS score of 442 and above received an invitation in this round.
Despite the large draw size, the minimum score did not change between the two draws. This could be because of the fact that more than two weeks elapsed between the draws held on June 25 and July 11 ITA round. When there is a time drag between the two draws, it allows Express Entry Pool to take more time to replenish which might result in increasing of increasing the minimum cut-off CRS score.
This year, the draw sizes began at 2,750 ITAs which have steadily increased to 3,000, 3,500 and now 3,750. The ITAs issued in the previous three draws have been the highest after a trend established in 2017. The IRCC employ draw sizes had remained the same over the successive rounds and then increased by the number of 250 0r 500 oddly in every two months.
The maximum dip of ITAs for this year was seen on May 30 draw when only 700 candidates received the invitation. This was due to the fact that May 30 was a program specific draw.
The present trend has also surpassed the number of ITAs issued in July last year. A total of 43,450 ITAs have been issued over 14 draws, till now in 2018.
