Eligible Express Entry Candidates Likely to Serve as Early Childhood Educators from August 8-2018

In a new revelation, Express Entry candidates, if all goes as planned, will have a chance to serve as early educators and assistants from August 8, 2018 courtesy of new Labour Market Priorities Stream. The eligible candidates will receive an invitation from the Atlantic Canada province of Nova Scotia for a provincial nomination.
According to a formal announcement by Nova Scotia on August 2, the candidates with two years of work experience in National Occupation Classification (NOC) shall get this opportunity. It further clarifies that the candidates will be selected on the basis of the new Labour Market Priorities Stream and will be filling in the gap for market-identified labour shortages.
Nova Scotia in its statement to media called the New Labour Market Priorities Stream an innovative move, which will take care of market demands by seeking skilled professionals in specific sectors.
All the eligible candidates will receive extra 600 points against their Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System scores—prompting them to step ahead in the queue for Canadian permanent residency.

Candidates will need the following documents to be considered for the nomination:

• Letter of Interest from NSOI
• Additional draw-specific eligibility criteria
• Work Experience
• Settlement Funds
• Immigration Status

• Criteria for early childhood educators and assistants
• Candidates with a Letter of Interest from the province will have to furnish letters of reference. Here are the specifications.
• Written on company letterhead
• Signed by the responsible human resources officer, supervisor, or manager
• Show the company’s full address, telephone number, e-mail and website addresses and be stamped with the company’s official seal (if applicable). 

It should include all of the following information in one document:

• The specific period of your employment with the company
• The positions you have held during the period of employment and time spent in each position
• your main responsibilities and duties in each position
• your annual salary plus benefits in each position
• the number of hours worked per week in each position
• proof that your work experience meets the lead statement and the majority (at least 51%) of the main duties listed for NOC 4214 
• The role of early childhood educators is to plan, organize, and implement various programs for children aged up to 12 years, whereas the assistants ensure care for infants and preschool to school-age children.
