Two Alberta Immigration Programs to be opened soon The process of starting the two new Alberta Immigration programs is underway. The design and implementation strategies of the program are in talks as of now, and the new programs will be introduced by fall 2019.  Jason Kennedy, Canada’s Immigration Minister, promised these two new programs in the general elections earlier this year. These programs will benefit employers, organizations, and experts who want to settle in Alberta Province of Canada. New Brunswick’s will apply directly from the Express Entry Pool New Brunswick has eased the immigration process to the province. Now, the applicants will receive an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination from New Brunswick whether they have registered in the Expression of Interest (EOI) or not. The new approach of selecting candidates directly from the express entry pool is considered in response to the provincial labor market needs. 180 Express Entry Candidates invited by Alberta Province in the Latest Draw The province of Alberta announced the latest draw recently. There were 180 candidates invited by the Alberta province with a minimum CRS score of 425. It means that all the candidates with the CRS score of 425 or above are selected. Also, they should have mentioned Alberta province as a preference in their Express Entry Profile. In 2019, there have been 17 draws held by the Alberta Province so far and total 3996 candidates have been sent NOIs. The minimum score of 425 is the highest asked score in the Alberta Express Entry program so far. The score asked by Alberta was much less than the latest Express Entry Draw score of 460. First Invitations for Skilled Worker’s Candidates Issued through Arrima Portal by Quebec The province of Quebec has started issuing invitations under the Arrima System. For this, the applicants with the expression of interest were considered. On 4th July 2019, the candidates began receiving email notifications. The Arrima system was launched in September 2018, and since then it has invited a lot of candidates under the Quebec Skilled Workers Program. In the first round, the candidates who are prioritized are: Applicants with a valid job offer from a Quebec employer. The First Round of Invitations about to start for the Quebec Region The applicants who have registered an Expression of Interest(EOI) under the Arima portal they will be issued invitations under the Quebec Skilled Worker’s Program(QSWP) soon. The Arima portal was introduced last year to manage the applications. There have been 1,00,000 EOIs being issued since the time Arima Portal has been launched. The EOI system launched replaces the first come First serve basis system of Quebec Skilled Workers Program (QSWP).
