The process of starting the two new Alberta Immigration programs is underway. The design and implementation strategies of the program are in talks as of now, and the new programs will be introduced by fall 2019.
Jason Kennedy, Canada’s Immigration Minister, promised these two new programs in the general elections earlier this year. These programs will benefit employers, organizations, and experts who want to settle in Alberta Province of Canada. The Alberta immigration nominee program will be dedicated towards rural renewal and Rural Entrepreneur Immigration so that smaller communities gain the much-required assistance at the right time.
Through both these pathways, the total number of 40,000 new Permanent residents are expected to the community. The Alberta programs will be modeled on the parameters of Manitoba rural community programs which has been successful through the Modern Community Initiative. Around 20 % of newcomers in Manitoba are now settled in rural areas.
