Express Entry Stream

The Express Entry program is a central system for permanent residency applications and has three streams: the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. It is the high-scoring applicants who receive the ITA for PR status. The applicants who are selected through the  PNP are awarded the 600-point when applying to the Canada permanent residency.

The points are calculated and ranked with the help of the CRS score calculator, and factors that help in score calculation are age, work experience, education, and language skills, among others.

Manitoba Immigration Programs

MPNP is the provincial program of Manitoba and helps select skilled workers for the province as per the labor market demand.

Step one in getting selected for the Manitoba province is to register an Expression of Interest with the MPNP. The selected applicants can get shortlisted through the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas streams.

Manitoba province scores the candidates out of 1,000 points as per human capital factors and connection to the province.

The Skilled Workers Overseas Category and Skilled Workers in Manitoba categories help identify candidates who meet its labor market needs. Candidates in the overseas category need to establish connections to Manitoba through close family ties, previous experience in the province, or being selected in one of Manitoba's Strategic Recruitment Initiatives. Under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category, the applicant needs to have a full-time job offer from the Manitoba employer.

International graduates select applicants whose education in Manitoba can be met through the International Education Stream to demonstrate that they have in-demand skills.
