On 27 May 2020, the Canadian government conducted a new express entry draw in which 385 candidates were invited from the provincial nominee program category. The minimum required Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score of selection was set at 757 for this draw. The additional score of 600 is set for those candidates who are shortlisted for the provincial nomination. Thus, ideally, the required CRS score of selection is 157, which is in addition to the PNP bonus score brings the total required score to 757.

It is the sixth PNP specific express entry draw since the Coronavirus pandemic has spread its wings in the world, and special measures have been imposed since 18 March 2020. Canada has been targeting two specific pathways draw since when the special measures were imposed – Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee Program-specific draws that have been alternatively conducted by the government. It is observed that the draws which are CEC specific have a much lower CRS cut off than the PNP specific draws. The lowest score requirement since Jan 2019 has been 447 CRS score, which is in a CEC specific draw.
