Manitoba Province Issued 224 Invites in the Latest Provincial Nomination Draw

The province of Manitoba announced the 73rd Expression of Interest (EOI) in which 224 applications were sent an invite. With this draw, the Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA)s issued this year has reached 6381 through different streams. The draw considered the applications which were registered under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)

Out of the 224 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA)s issued on 25 September, the demarcation was as following:

  • Express Entry System – 15
  • A skilled worker in Manitoba – 140
  • Skilled Workers overseas – 59
  • International Education stream – 25

The shortlisted applicants will also be eligible for 600 bonus points in the Express Entry program. The selection score in all the categories was the following:

  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba required score -537
  • Skilled Workers Overseas required score - 703
  • International Education stream required score - NO minimum score

Recent Express Entry Draw Invited 3900 Candidates

The latest express entry draw was announced on 2nd October in which 3900 candidates were invited to apply for permanent residency status. The CRS score requirement in the draw was 464. It means the applicants who secured 464 CRS points or above they were shortlisted for relocation with the PR status.

  • ITA sent – 3900
  • Minimum CRS score required – 464 Points

The Latest Express Entry Draw – 2nd October 2019

In the recent Express Entry draw, there was an increase of 300 invites sent than the invites issued in the previous of 18 September. Earlier the invites issued were 3600, and this pattern was continuing from past six or seven draws. Three thousand nine hundred applications were issued last time on 23 January 2019 after that IRCC has maintained a consistent number of 3600 in most of its draws. Also, the points score requirement is two points higher than the minimum CRS score required last time.

Just like other times, the Tiebreak rule will be applied this time as well for profiles submitted before 20 September at 15: 05: 04 UTC. With this latest draw, the Invitations issued in 2019 have reached 67,300. If this is continued than 2018 record of 89,800 invites can be easily surpassed this year.

British Columbia’s Entrepreneur Immigration Pilot Orogram undergoes a change

In the endeavor to meet the labor market demands, The British Columbia Province has added the right communities to the list of the B.C Entrepreneur Immigration Pilot Program. This Pilot program enables Foreign entrepreneurs to establish a business in a small or regional community of British Columbia. This step is supposed to emancipate the smaller and regional communities of the region.

The eight new communities that have been added to the list are:

  • Canal Flats
  • Invermere
  • Parksville
  • Peachland
  • Radium Hot Springs
  • Regional District of East Kootenay
  • Shuswap Indian Band

Communities that participated in this program are those which have a population of less than 75,000 and are located 30 km away from the Urban region. Also, the participating communities need to prove that they will be able to provide opportunities to eligible entrepreneurs to settle and work.

The prospective entrepreneurs also are expected to pay a preliminary visit to the region if they wish to start a business. While registering, submitting details of business experience, work experience, language skills, Education, and proposed business is essential. Also, the personal net worth of the applicants for this pilot has been reduced significantly.

Now, the eligible candidates should:

  • Possess a minimum of 100000 CAD Business Investments
  • Have a personal net worth of CAD 30,00,000
  • Should take 51 % of ownership
  • Have a minimum of three years experiences active business owner and Four years as a Senior manager
  • Ability to create at least one job for a Canadian Citizen or PR status holder
  • Have the minimum Language Proficiency of CLB 4
