On August 4, Canada conducted a new Express Entry draw in which Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates were targeted for selection. The number of ITAs has gone up in the recent express entry draw. The IRCC has now invited 512 candidates with the score requirement of at least 760 points. The CRS score requirement of this draw was higher than the previous one as earlier the score required was 734, and the PNP applicants invited were 462.
The Key Highlights of the Draw
There is a high score for Provincial nominations because the applicants are allotted 600 extra points for the selection. There is a tie break rule applied this time as well, just like the earlier draws. It is an administrative requirement and helps in selecting among the applicants who have the same CRS score.
