In the latest express entry draw of IRCC announced on Nov 24, 2021, there have been 613 candidates invited. With this draw, there are 112653 candidates that have been selected in 2021 so far. The candidates get selected from the provincial nominee program category, and they are invited only when they have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score requirement of 737.
The Key Highlights
Since there are additional 600 CRS points for selecting candidates in the provincial nomination category, that means the applicant's total CRS score requirement was set at 137 without the nomination. With an overall CRS score of 737, the applicant will be sent an invite.
There seems to be a pattern of PNP specific draw, which has been seen during the COVID 19 pandemic time with an alternate of targeting Provincial nomination candidates and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates for relocation. Canada has held 27 CEC draws so far, in which there have been 133868 applicants required so far.
The tie break rule was also applied. It means the candidates who meet the tie break deadline will be considered in the latest draw. IRCC has been holding program-specific draws of PNP and CEC draw since the lockdown has been imposed in Canada, and the travel restrictions have been imposed.
