For the Express Entry BC category, the applicant must have a valid profile in the federal express entry system, and then the candidates are picked from the pool.
The Key Highlights
The skills immigration category of British Columbia is for skilled and semi-skilled workers whose occupations are in high demand. In both the categories, Express Entry BC category and Skills immigration, the candidates need to register using the Skills Immigration registration system (SIRS). It is a unique selection system of British Columbia in which the candidates need to register and share certain personal information regarding work experience, job details, and also education. The SIRS works on an Expression of Interest (EOI) basis, and the registered candidate's abilities are calculated out of a score of 200. Here, the candidates with the minimum required selection score is selected.
