British Columbia PNP Tech Pilot Draw invites 87 Candidates

British Columbia Tech pilot stream is one of the most popular streams of BC. There are 29 listed tech occupations in the stream, and registration under Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) is necessary.

87 Candidates invited in the Latest British Columbia Technology Sector for Provincial Nomination

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) invited candidates in the TECH pilot category under the Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration categories. The province selected candidates with a Job offer.

The candidates who were from the Skilled Workers and international graduate category should have a minimum provincial score of 80 points. The june 23 draw was the minimum score as low as 80, and that has been the case of Tech Pilot Draws since the beginning of May.

The BC PNP tech pilot program was launched in 2017 and is a fast track pathway for tech workers and International students. The program has been extended until June 2021. To be selected under this category, the applicant should have a profile in one of BC existing Provincial nomination streams and a valid job offer that lasts up to 12 months in one of the 29 eligible occupations. For those applicants who wish to apply under the Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC categories they should have the profile in the BC PNP’s online portal and register under the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).

The selected applicants are also eligible for 600 bonus points in the federal Express Entry System. In June itself, six draws in different PNP categories and streams of BC and 729 have received Provincial nomination.
