British Columbia has selected 8 Entrepreneur candidates and 208 Skilled Worker and International Graduate in the latest draw announced on February 2.
British Columbia Immigration Nominee Program announced the latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) on February 2, 2021. There were 216 Immigration applicants selected in the newest draw out, in which there were 208 Skilled Worker and International Graduate candidates and 8 Entrepreneur candidates. The Skilled workers received invitations under the province’s Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration categories.

The Applicants are selected from the Express Entry profile, and the shortlisted appellants who have received the nomination from British Columbia are eligible for an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score points. These applicants received the Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence under IRCC’s Express Entry system.

In the latest draw, the Impact of Coronavirus was evident. As in the recent draws, several sales and service occupations were excluded from this draw as well. British Columbia holds draws in several PNP categories and streams. There have been 740 invitations have been issued by the BC PNP so far in 2021.
The applicants who were to be selected in the Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC categories should have a profile under BC PNP’s online portal and also be registered under its Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). The applicants are assessed as per education, work experience, English proficiency, and employment location.
