Express Entry Draw announced with CRS cut off 466 Points
The latest Express Entry draw got announced on 12 August 2019 with the minimum CRS required of 466 points. This means applicants with a CRS score of 466 points or more are eligible for Canada Permanent Residency(PR). A total of 3600 candidates were selected in the latest draw.

The CRS score required this time was 11 points higher than the cut off the requirement of the last draw released on 24 July in which the minimum score asked was 459 points. Also, since the previous three draws, there has been a consistent number of ITAs sent, which is 3600. The total number of ITAs sent so far in 2019 is 52,500. The Parcours D’ accompagnement personnalise (personalized support system) has been introduced by Quebec province, and it was announced on 8th August 2019. As a part of this new program that is being introduced, an immigration assistant officer will look over the case in a step by step format.

Two Alberta Immigration Programs to be opened soon
The process of starting the two new Alberta Immigration programs is underway. The design and implementation strategies of the program are in talks as of now, and the new programs will be introduced by fall 2019.
Jason Kennedy, Canada’s Immigration Minister, promised these two new programs in the general elections earlier this year. These programs will benefit employers, organizations, and experts who want to settle in Alberta Province of Canada. The Alberta immigration nominee program will be dedicated towards rural renewal and Rural Entrepreneur Immigration so that smaller communities gain the much-required assistance at the right time.

New Brunswick’s will apply directly from the Express Entry Pool
New Brunswick has eased the immigration process to the province. Now, the applicants will receive an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination from New Brunswick whether they have registered in the Expression of Interest (EOI) or not. The new approach of selecting candidates directly from the express entry pool is considered in response to the provincial labor market needs.

180 Express Entry Candidates invited by Alberta Province in the Latest Draw
The province of Alberta announced the latest draw recently. There were 180 candidates invited by the Alberta province with a minimum CRS score of 425. It means that all the candidates with the CRS score of 425 or above are selected. Also, they should have mentioned Alberta province as a preference in their Express Entry Profile.
In 2019, there have been 17 draws held by the Alberta Province so far and total 3996 candidates have been sent NOIs. The minimum score of 425 is the highest asked score in the Alberta Express Entry program so far. The score asked by Alberta was much less than the latest Express Entry Draw score of 460. There have been four occasions when Alberta invited the candidates with CRS score as low as 300.
