In the Latest Express Entry Draw announced on Apr 9, 2020, There were 3294 candidates invited with the minimum CRS score dropping to 464. This is the second express entry draw that has issued invites to the Canadian Experience Class, and the applicants with a score of 464 are shortlisted.

This is the rare Express Entry draw in which the lowest CRS score requirement was asked since October 2019. It was the fourth consecutive program-specific draw of Express entry and the second one in a month for the Canadian experience class (CEC).

In the last draw, which was specific to the Canadian experience class, there were 606 candidates invited for Canada permanent residency. Among other categories, there is a one-year work experience required in the field. The highest-ranked candidates from the express entry pool are issued invites.

Just like the other draws, The Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Applied the tie break rule in today's draw as well. For this, the candidates who had submitted their profile before Jan 4, 2020, at 12:16:45, they were shortlisted. The score of 464 was set for the desired date and time.

The 3294 ITAs were issued in this draw, and with this, the total number of invites issued this year has reached 26,500. It is expected that despite the COVID 19 pandemic, the IRCC will continue to hold Express entry rounds. Canada welcomed 3,41,000 Candidates in 2019, and there is a high target of 3,41,000 in 2020 as well. Thus it seems plausible that immigration will not be thwarted due to the pandemic scenario.
