Prince Edward Island is the only province that has come out with the PNP schedule for the public. PEI PNP will conduct 12 draws in 2022.
PEI has released its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw schedule for the rest of the year. It is out in the open with the province as it has released its draw schedule ahead of time. Except in 2020, When the pandemic had hit the country, the Prince Edward Island province had a habit of releasing its PNP schedule to the public. Since 2020 was an uncertain time, the schedule was not announced.
As per the schedule, there are 12 draws that are expected this year. The applicants will be invited through the Express Entry, Labour Impact, and Business Impact categories.

In 2021, PEI Province had invited a total of 1,804 immigration candidates for a provincial nomination. Out Of these invitations, 1,697 were from the Labour Impact and also the Express Entry streams, while there were 157 from the Business Impact stream.
The PEI PNP’s Express Entry Category is linked to the federal system; thus, it is an enhanced PNP. To be considered for this stream, the applicants should have a profile in the system. The Express Entry selects applicants in three streams: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class. The eligible applicants are those who meet the point score requirement calculated with the help of the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score tool, and the scores are tests as per the factors of age, work experience, education, and language proficiency in English or French.
Additional 600 points are given to those who have a nomination to their credit.
The Labour Impact Category requires a valid job offer for at least one year. It has three streams: Skilled Worker, Critical Worker, and International Graduate.
Business Impact Category candidates should meet the minimum score requirement. The applicants apply under the Work Permit Stream.
