Ontario Provinces Second PNP draw in Two Days

With the aim of restoring the cultural heritage of Canada, the Ontario Province has been conducting a large number of draws in French-Speaking applicants. In the recent draw, there were 271 applicants selected through the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream.

On March 3, Ontario Province invited French-speaking Express Entry candidates for provincial nomination. Under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), there were 126 candidates invited through the French-Speaking Skilled Worker (FSSW) stream. Those applicants who had the profile in the Express Entry system and who also had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 455 and 467 were selected in this draw.

In the latest Provincial draw, the appellants were picked from the Express Entry pool who had created profiles between March 3, 2020, and March 3, 2021. The shortlisted applicants have 45 days time to send in their application for nomination with all the documents.

The draw of the 3rd march was slightly smaller than the previous FSSW draw, which was conducted on January 13. In the draw, there were 146 applicants issued invites.

Ontario Province has selected a total of 271 applicants through the Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream so far in 2021.

How to know if you are Eligible for the French-Speaking Category Ontario Provincial Nominee Program?

If you wish to receive an invitation in this category, then the first step is getting a nomination. The eligibility requirements of the Canadian Experience Class or the Federal Skilled Worker Program should be checked. Rest, the specific requirements should be as per the OINP processing. For selection in the category, the applicant will require a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 7 points in French Language and 6 In the English Language. one of the eligibility requirements will also entail the appellant needs to have enough funds to cover the cost in Ontario as well.

The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) helps the applicants be a good match to a province as per the labor market requirement. As per the recent study, the PNP has been responsible for improved market performance in the area.

The candidates who receive the provincial nomination are also eligible for 600 additional points in the best Express entry draw, which guarantees their selection in the next draw.
