In the 85th draw of the province of Manitoba, there were 222 candidates invited in all the three categories - Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas and International Education Stream. The majority of applicants were invited to the Skilled Workers in the Manitoba category.
In the latest Manitoba provincial nomination draw that was announced on 12 March 2020, there were 222 candidates invited for permanent residency. It was the 85th expression of Interest (EOI) draw in which applicants were invited form all the three sub-streams - Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas, and International Education stream. 17 Express Entry candidates were given the letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) in this draw.
The Key Highlights of the Draw
For the Express Entry Stream selection, the applicant should submit an expression of interest (EOI) profile and have satisfactory work experience in the in-demand occupation of Manitoba. Also, in skilled workers and skilled worker’s overseas category, the registration in EOI is mandatory.
The selection score in the latest draw was set at 496 for the Skilled Workers and 672 for the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream. Thirteen candidates were invited through the skilled Workers overseas stream by Manitoba Province and were selected in the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. One hundred ninety-one candidates should be invited to the skilled workers in the Manitoba category, and they must have a full-time permanent job offer.
For the International Education Stream, there are three sub-streams – Career Employment Pathway, Graduate Internship Pathway, and Student Entrepreneur Pathway.
