Manitoba province announced the latest draw on May 6, 2021 in which 150 applicants from Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Workers Overseas were selected.
On May 6, 2021, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) invited 150 candidates for Canadian permanent residence. The applicants were selected in three streams - Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Workers Overseas. The scores in the latest draw were as follows:
There were 14 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) given to the Express Entry candidates. With this latest draw, the Manitoba province has reached a number of 2,786 candidates in 2021.
Manitoba has different pathways and streams through which applicants are selected. First, the applicants who wish to get a Manitoba Nomination need to register an Expression of Interest.
An Expression of Interest ranks appellants out of 1000 points, and selection factors are human capital factors and their connections to the province.
Both these streams are designed to help skilled foreign workers meet their labor market needs. The applicants who wish to use the Skilled Workers Overseas Category should have close family ties, previous experience in the province, or an invitation through one of Manitoba's Strategic Recruitment Initiatives. The appellant should not have been living in Manitoba at the time of application. However, having a full-time job offer from a provincial employer is important.
The international graduate's stream selects those applicants who have studied in Manitoba and also have in-demand skills.
This is the enhanced Express entry Stream where appellants are selected from the Federal express entry pool. The candidates are picked based on their Comprehensive Ranking System score (CRS) which is calculated based on age, work experience, education, and language skills. It is the high-scoring applicants who are picked from the pool. The shortlisted applicants are also eligible for a 600 bonus in the subsequent express entry draw.
