Manitoba PNP New Draw Invited 421 Candidates

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) invited 421 candidates in the latest PNP draw. The applicants selected are from Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas, and International Education Stream.

On November 8, Manitoba province invited 421 immigration candidates with a provincial nomination. The applicants require to have a nomination from the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). The candidates shortlisted from three streams of the province, and the demarcation is as follows:

• Skilled Workers in Manitoba - 350 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 460;
• Skilled Workers Overseas - 38 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 713; and
• International Education Stream - 33 invitations with no EOI score requirement.

There are even 75 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) issued to Express Entry candidates. With the latest draw, there were 9571 invitations to PNP candidates in 2021 so far.

Manitoba Immigration Programs

Manitoba province helps skilled foreign workers immigrate to the province through the MPNP. Canadian provinces do not have the right to provide permanent residency status; however, they are allowed to issue provincial nominations. The applicant starts the process by creation of Expression of Interest with the MPNP; this makes the candidate eligible for Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas streams.

Manitoba calculates the candidates' score out of 1,000 points for their human capital factors and considers the province's connections.

In Skilled Workers in Manitoba category, the applicant should have a full-time job offer from a provincial employer. International graduates can also receive an invitation under the International Education Stream provided that they have skills in high-demand occupations and have completed their education from Manitoba.
