The latest draw of Manitoba was the 82nd draw of the province, which took place on Jan 30, 2020. 181 candidates were issued Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in three streams Skilled Workers, Skilled Workers Overseas, and International education stream.

Further, 11 candidates were shortlisted through Express Entry Stream. Among other requirements, the candidates must have satisfactory work experience in one of Manitoba's in-demand occupations to be considered for the province. Further, a separate Expression of Interest (EOI) should need to be submitted to the Manitoba PNP (MPNP).
The Expression of Interest (EOI) candidates is considered for both Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas categories. In the EOI system, the points are calculated out of 1000. Those candidates who meet the scoring requirement receive the LAAs along with their connections to Manitoba. Language score and work experience are some of the crucial requirements.

In the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream, there were 39 candidates invited through the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. the three categories of selection in the International Education Stream are Career Employment, Graduate Internship, and Student Entrepreneur.
