Despite the COVID 19 pandemic, the provincial draw has continued in Canada uninterrupted. In the latest 88th Manitoba provincial draw, 132 candidates got selected in - Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas and International Education streams.
In the latest provincial nomination draw, 12 candidates of Manitoba have been invited from the Expression of Interest (EOI) pool, where seven express Entry candidates were also invited. The draw was announced on 23 April, and the selection of applicants was made in three categories - Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas and International Education streams.
It was the 88th Provincial Draw of the Manitoba province since the program had begun in April 2014. The Manitoba province has issued 1808 Letter of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to immigration candidates so far.
Key Highlights of the Draw
👉 Express Entry
In the 23 April draw, seven candidates of federal express entry got invited. The selected candidates who got selected in the draw they should have declared a valid express entry ID and also provided a job seeker validation code.
👉 Skilled Workers in Manitoba
A total of 93 LAAs were sent to candidates with an EOI in the Manitoba Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream who can immigrate through this stream. The EOI score is calculated out of 1000, and the high ranking candidates are issued LAAs. The selection score for this category was 489.
👉 Skilled Workers Overseas
There were 25 candidates in the Skilled Workers Overseas category, which were invited through the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The Selection score in this category was 714 in 23 April draw.
👉 International Education
Manitoba candidates who have skills are invited through the International Education stream. There are three categories in International education and the applicants in all these three subcategories are eligible - Career Employment Pathway Graduate Internship Pathway and International Student Entrepreneur Pilot. In the latest draw, there was no EOI minimum Score requirement. In the latest draw, 14 LAAs were sent to International Education Stream.
