Manitoba Province’s Latest draw was a large provincial draw in which a record-breaking number of applicants were invited. There were 1017 applicants selected from only one stream - the Skilled Workers Overseas stream.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) Conducted a record-breaking PNP draw wherein a large number of Express Entry applicants were invited for provincial nomination. On June 28, 1017 applicants with a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code received LAA.
The applicants were selected from the Skilled Workers Overseas Stream, and To be selected, it is imperative that the applicant had met the eligibility requirement. Having a Profile in Manitoba’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system and An EOI score of 565 were few compulsory requirements.
The Key Highlights
The EOI score is as per Manitoba’s EOI scoring matrix. If the applicant was selected in this program, he is eligible for additional 600 points in the federal express entry system. It is not unique to Manitoba province; rather, every Provincial Nomination guarantees a score in the federal draw.
With this draw, Manitoba province has now issued 4,722 invites since the start of 2021.
Express Entry allows skilled workers to relocate to Canada as quickly as possible. There are three sub-streams under this pathway - the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program.
In this point-based pathway, the appellants are scored with the help of the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool. The candidates are given a score as per age, work experience, education, and language skills. It is the High scoring applicants who are selected for immigration.
Manitoba Province has different streams to help international talent settle in the province. The applicant needs to register an Expression of Interest with the MPNP and receive LAA through the Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Graduates, and Skilled Workers Overseas streams.
For the Skilled workers overseas stream, the applicants need to show a connection to Manitoba. A close family ties, previous experience in the province, or an invitation through Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives.
