In the 81st draw of Manitoba since its launch in 2014, there have been 249 candidates who received the Letter of Advice to Apply(LAA).
Under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), there were 249 candidates invited for provincial nomination on January 17, 2020, in both Skilled Workers and International Student category. These 249 candidates who were issued the Letter of Advice to Apply (LAAs) got selected from three streams – Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas, and International Education stream.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) was started in 2014, and since the program has been launched, this is the 81st draw of the province.
In the latest draw, 249 candidates received the LAAs, and 22 candidates were selected from the Express Entry pool. To be considered for the provincial nomination in Manitoba province, the Express Entry candidate should have work experience in one of the professions from Manitoba's In-demand occupation list, and a separate Expression of Interest (EOI) should also be submitted to the MPNP.
The applicants who are selected for the provincial nomination they are also eligible for 600 bonus points in the Federal Express Entry System.
👉 Expression of Interest (EOI)
For the selection to be made under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas, the candidate must fill the Expression of Interest(EOI). EOI is an online profile in which the score is calculated out of 1000 points, and education, age, work experience are the selection factors. The highest-scoring candidates receive the LAAs. The lowest score in the Skilled Workers candidate is 545, and the lowest score in Skilled Workers Overseas is 708.

The selection of the candidate in skilled workers and skilled workers overseas is made as per the labor market demand. It is essential that the candidate should provide proof of the connection to Manitoba through close friends, friends, and relatives, etc. The 34 candidates invited in the skilled worker overseas stream were selected under the strategic recruitment Initiative.
