It means that all those candidates who secured 471 points or above they were shortlisted for the Canada PR status through the Express Entry system.

In the latest express entry draw of 22 January, 3400 ITAs were being sent, which was the same as the ITAs sent last time in the draw held on 8 January 2020. With the two draws held in Jan 2020, the total number of invitations issued has already reached 6800. However, this time the point score requirements were two points lower than the minimum score asked in the last draw. Canada has higher immigration targets for 2020 and 2021 through various programs. The number of ITAs is expected to increase in the next draws. The goal of Permanent residency through economic immigration is set at 85,800 in 2020 and 88800 in 2021.
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score required for selection is calculated based on age, language, education, work experience, etc. generally, the Express entry draw is conducted after every two weeks. Just like all the other times this as well, the Tiebreak rule was applied and was set on 9 May 2019, at 01:16:02.
Those candidates who fail to get selected in the Express entry system should not be disheartened. They have an opportunity to relocate through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) offered by the Canadian government.
