How will Canada Elections 2019 Impact Immigrations Policy?

The Canada elections 2019 conducted on 21st October proved beneficial for the liberals. It means stability in Canada Immigration for desired applicants. There will be no significant changes that will be brought about in the immigration policies.

To review the highlight of the Canada Elections 2019, let’s look at the piece below-

As per the latest immigration policies of liberals, the targets of immigration will be set on 330800 in 2019 and 350000 by 2021. This is a heightened number from the last policies target, thus, it will be safe to say that the trend of increased Canada immigration is here to stay. In this new target, there will be a lot of focus on skilled worker’s migration, which is expected to increase by 10,000 by the end of the year 2021. The estimation clearly states that the immigration target could be 3,70,000 by the end of 2023.

Further, one of the major emphasis by the liberals in the last term was on the Atlantic Immigration Pilot program (AIPP) and after being chosen to power again. Their interest in the program is supposed to be consistent.

Also, there is the news of the new policy implementation – Municipal Nominee Program (MNP). Through this program, the applicants will be encouraged to develop smaller cities in Canada. The selection procedure for the new Municipal Nominee Program (MNP) program is modeled after the Atlantic Immigration Pilot program (AIPP) program and the Rural Northern Immigration Pilot program (RNIP). These programs will now run on the employer-driven driven pattern. In such cases, the employers are supposed to support the applications of the immigrants and ensure that they meet the labor and market requirements. The aim of this program is the distribution of 2750 applicants across the country.

The best news of all is that the liberals are planning a fee waiver for those candidates who are eligible for the Canada PR status. There is a lot that Liberals promised if they were select to power again, and they have so far proved considerate for the immigrants and hopeful that trend is expected to continue in the coming years as well.
