Canada Express Entry Draw Selected 5,000 CEC candidates on 18th March 2021

In the recent Express Entry draw, Canada invited 5,000 Express Entry candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) specific selection on March 18.

The Express Entry draw was announced on March 18 in which 5,000 Express Entry candidates got selected in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Specific selection. The minimum required Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of selection in the latest draw was set at 449. It means all those applicants who secured 449 points or above were selected for immigration.

The basic requirement of the CEC applicants is one year of full-time continuous skilled work experience and intermediate official language skills. This draw has been responsible for a lot of ITAs that have been issued this year, and IRCC is coming close to its target. Canada has committed to inviting 401,000 new immigrants in 2021, and with the latest draw 1,08,500 invitations have already been sent through the Express Entry Program. At this rate, it seems that soon IRCC will be able to meet its immigration target asset for this year.
