The BC PNP Tech Pilot draw announced recently selected 74 applicants in the Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration categories. The selection score for Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories was set at 80 points.

The Latest Tech Pilot draw of British Columbia PNP was recently conducted in which 74 immigration candidates were provided the provincial nomination for permanent residence on September 22. The BC PNP Tech Pilot draw selected candidates in the Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration categories.

Those who were from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories, they required a minimum score of 80 points for selection. Since May 2020, there has been a low score requirement in Tech Pilot Draws as the minimum requirement has settled at 80 points.

About BC PNP Tech Pilot

For the Tech workers and the International students, the BC PNP Tech Pilot acts as a fast track mode of relocation. It was started in 2017 and is one of the most successful programs of British Columbia. It has been recently extended until June 2021.

Those applicants who are registered in one of B.C.’s existing provincial immigration streams and they also have a Job offer of minimum 12 months in one of the 29 tech occupations they are eligible to apply under the Program.

For Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC categories, the applicant should have a profile under Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) and registered on B.C.'s online Portal.

After the applicants are evaluated, they are provided a score based on education, direct work experience, and a B.C. employment offer. The selected candidates in the British Columbia nomination will be provided additional 600 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of Express Entry, and they are given an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
