There were 133 candidates invited for permanent residency through the provincial nomination Tech pilot draw of British Columbia. COVID 19 pandemic has not been able to thwart the immigration proceedings of Canada.
On 26 May 2020, the provincial nomination draw for British Columbia took place in which 133 candidates were invited. The applicants were invited to the Skilled Worker and International Graduate category under the skill immigration and express entry British Columbia pathway for immigration. The minimum required score for relocation in both categories was 80.
It was the Tech Pilot draw of British Columbia PNP in which tech workers with a valid job offer in one of the 29 in-demand tech occupations applied for Permanent Residency. The candidates who are planning to immigrate through EEBC their profile should be created under the Skills Immigration registration system(SIRS) and the federal express entry system. The tech draws are conducted to meet the labor shortage in the province, for selection in the tech pilot category, the Candidates need to have a valid job offer along with minimum one-year work experience. There should also be 120 calendar days remaining in candidates' job tenure at the time the profile gets submitted to British Columbia.
The selected applicants are eligible for 600 bonus points in the Federal express entry system of candidates selection.
