British Columbia PNP Latest Draw Selected 108 Tech Workers on 5 October

The latest British Columbia PNP draw selected 108 Tech Workers in the recent draw for provincial nomination on October 5. Here read the detailed news.

On October 5, the British Columbia PNP selected 108 tech workers for a provincial nomination. Applicants were selected through British Columbia’s Express Entry BC and Skills immigration categories. The candidate needs to have his profile registered under the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS) to be shortlisted.

With this latest draw, the British Columbia province has issued over 9,000 invitations for a provincial nomination since 2021.

The applicants received invitations in this draw on the Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories. The least required score was 70 points. It is a ten-point less draw from the last draw when the applicants required 80 points.

The selected applicants will have 30 days to complete the documentation and submit the profile.

The BC PNP Tech Program

The BC PNP Tech is a popular and highly lucrative stream of British Columbia province. It was launched in 2017 as a pilot project to fill the labour market requirement in the tech sector but owing to the popularity and demand, the program was extended and has been made a permanent program of B.C. The tech Pilot program enables employers to selected the technology sector workers and international talent. It is a fast-track program and the in-demand tech workers, and international students can immigrate quickly and easily through this program.

The applicants need to be registered in any one of the B.C.’s existing provincial immigration streams. They should have a valid job offer of at least 12 months and the qualifying applicants should have a job in one of 29 eligible occupations. job offer of the candidates should be for at least one year and the candidate should have a minimum of 120 days left at the time of application to the BC PNP.

Through the Tech pilot program, the top-scoring candidates are selected. It takes around two to three months to process the application. The selected applicants are eligible for 600 points in the federal express entry Point calculation.
