British Columbia held yet another provincial nomination draw in which 87 new candidates with the CRS point of 82 were invited.
The province of British Columbia invited 87 new applicants in the latest provincial nomination draw announced on 9 June. In this, the candidates were invited from the Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration Categories.
The minimum provincial nomination score for each of the categories was set at 82 Points. To be selected in the Express entry BC category, the candidate is expected to have an account in the Express Entry System.
The applicants who received the provincial nomination are eligible for 600 bonus points in the federal express entry system. The points calculation is done based on age, language, work experience, and arranged employment of the applicants.
The British Columbia PNP also recently announced that it is extending the Tech Pilot program till June 2021. As per the pilot program, the people with technical skills can relocate with a job offer in one of the 29 occupations. The job offer to be selected in the Tech Pilot should be at least one year long, and there need to be at least 120 days remaining in the job offer as per the application submitted to British Columbia.
