The key factors of the BC PNP Draw - 6 October

  • ITAs Sent - 72
  • Minimum Score Required - 80(both subcategories)

The minimum score requirements has witnessed no change since mid-June. There are weekly Tech Pilot draws that are held by the British Columbia province in 29 eligible occupations with job offers. Since 2017 when the Tech Pilot program as first launched it has been applauded as one of the most successful programs of the province. It has always helped in the selection of applicants as per the market needs.

To participate in the Tech Pilot Program the candidates need to register in any one of the B.C.’s existing provincial immigration streams and also have a valid job offer of at least 12 months in any of the Tech Pilot’s occupations.

In the Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC categories, only those applicants who have a profile through the BC PNP’s online portal and are also registered under its Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) are considered.  The selection of applicants is based on the scores calculated according to education, work experience, proficiency in language - English or French and location of employment.

The selected appellants in the nomination are also eligible for 600 points in the Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

The coronavirus pandemic has not been able to thwart the draws of British Columbia as there has been a lot of selections in various PNP categories every week. Last week the Province issued 450 nominations in the largest draw this year. There have been seven draws in September this year and the total number of invites has reached a glaring number of 1430.
