With the Latest Express Entry Draw of 30th October in which 3900 candidates were invited, the total number of invitations sent by the Canada government in 2019 has reached more than 70,000 this year. It is only 2500 less than the total invites sent in 2018 with two months left in the year 2019. The total invitee of 2019 will surpass the number of 2018.

Canada Government invited more than 70,000 Express Entry Candidates this Year

With the Latest Express Entry Draw announced by the government of Canada on 30th October 2019, the total number of ITAs sent this year has gone up to 71,700 through the express entry system alone.

The details of the Draw highlighted the invited being sent to 3900 express entry candidates, and the selected candidates should have a CRS score of 475 points minimum. The points of the candidates were calculated based on age, education, language skills, and work experience, etc. Having a job offer letter for the selection of candidates is not a mandatory category.

Ideally, the express entry is announced after two weeks gap, and applicants are selected from the express entry pool. This time the Draw was extra special as it was conducted after a gap of 28 days. The Draw before this was held on 16th October and was a specific draw in which only Federal Skilled Trades Program applicants were invited as opposed to other draws in which all the programs are involved in the Express Entry draw.

The Highlights of the Latest Draw – 30th October

This Draw was also an all program draw that invited a large number of people in a high CRS score requirement. The cut off of 475 CRS points is a high score requirement, and it is eleven points higher than the score required on the 2nd October 2019 draw. Just like other times, the tie break rule was applied in this Draw as well, w.e.f 29th August 2019 at 03:50:24 UTC. With the latest Draw, the Canada government is only 2500 invites behind than the total invites being sent in 2018, which was 89,800. This year the Provincial Nominee Program(PNP)s are also inviting applicants excessively through the draws as Saskatchewan held record draw of 1000 applications on 18th October and Alberta and Nova Scotia inviting an abundant number of applicants.
