When it comes to inviting candidates, Alberta province doesn’t seem to stop. In the latest round of invitations, there were 121 Express Entry candidates invited to the Alberta Provincial Nominee Program(PNP) with the CRS score of 400. This draw took place on 15th August and is the second draw this month.
Before this, a draw was conducted on 7th August through the Alberta express entry, and 35 applicants were invited. There is no job offer required for selection in the Alberta Express Entry Stream. However, having a degree from a Canadian post-secondary institution and relative in Alberta can be advantageous. Alberta has conducted 28 draws so far with over 5503 NOIs being issued. In 2019 alone there are 3868 nominations issued so far.
The applicants who are shortlisted for Alberta are eligible for 600 bonus points in the express entry as well.
