308 Candidates Invited in Latest Saskatchewan Express Entry & Occupation In-Demand Draw

In the latest draw conducted on 9th January by the Province of Saskatchewan, there were 308 candidates invited for the provincial nominee program (PNP). This first draw of the year selected candidates in both the Express entry and occupation in demand stream.

The candidates need not require a job offer for selection. However, completion of an Expression of Interest (EOI) is mandatory for selection. Also, the selected candidates should have at least one year of work experience in the selected occupation.

The highest-scoring candidates in the Expression of Interest (EOI) are shortlisted for selection. For the express entry linked stream and occupation in demand stream, the minimum required range of score in the draw was 69 points.

The candidates selected in the Express Entry Linked Stream were 142, and in the Occupation In-Demand category, the candidates selected were 166. The SINP uses the excluded occupation list rather than the in-demand occupation list for making a selection.
