Saskatchewan PNP invites 576 Applicants in the Latest SINP Draw

In Saskatchewan's latest draw, the applicants were selected in the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand streams. A total of 576 applicants were selected in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

On 17 December, a new draw of Saskatchewan Province was held where the applicants were selected for a provincial nomination in the International Skilled Worker category under two subcategories: Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand. The invites sent were 576, and they were immigration candidates with work experience in selected occupations. Out of these 576 applicants, there were 190 applicants shortlisted in the Express entry sub category and 386 in the occupation in demand.

To be invited in this SINP draw, candidates from both the mentioned subcategories need to have an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with the SINP. Regardless of the category, the selected applicants in both the streams needed the EOI Score of 71. This is the Provincial nomination selection requirement and not the Comprehensive Ranking System cut off. In the EOI model, as were the selected candidates are needed to have an Educational Credential Assessments done.

In this latest draw, the Saskatchewan province invited applicants with work experience in 89 occupations. In the EOI system. The province selected applicants who meet the labor market demand, and the applicants need to showcase their work experience, education, language, age, and connections to the province. The score is calculated out of 100 on the Grid. Recently, Saskatchewan gave more EOI points to people who can speak English and French.


Express Entry Subcategory

The latest draw selected 190 applicants from the federal Express Entry pool with an EOI score of 71 on SINP’s Points Assessment Grid.

The federal Express Entry system is linked to the provincial systems. It is divided into three categories: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.

Express Entry candidates selected for Saskatchewan are awarded an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

Occupations In-Demand Subcategory

The Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand subcategory is for those applicants who do not have a federal Express Entry profile. It is a program for immigration candidates with work experience in occupations. In the recent draw, 386 Occupations In-Demand candidates got selected for a provincial nomination with a required score of 71.
