Saskatchewan expands in-demand list with 200 eligible occupations

Saskatchewan’s in-demand occupation list updated with more than 200 occupations

Saskatchewan Province has taken a significant move to manage the increasing labor market demand in the region. Earlier the list of In-demand occupations in Saskatchewan PNP was 19, and now with the latest update, there are more than 200 in-demand occupations.

To determine the selected occupation, Saskatchewan has listed the 130 occupations that are not included in the in-demand list. This leaves a total of 218 occupations which are now eligible for the Saskatchewan Province.

These occupations are associated with both Express Entry program and In-demand Occupations Category. Both the Immigration categories ask for work experience in eligible high skilled trades. It means NOC skill type O, A, and B, which includes highly skilled candidates in the list.

For qualification in the in-demand subcategory, the applicant should register with the Expression of Interest (EOI) with SINP. For the selection, it is mandatory to meet the minimum score in the Saskatchewan immigration points calculator. The points for selection are 60 points out of 100 on its own points score grid. The applicants who will be selected in the Express Entry System they are eligible for extra 600 points in the federal express entry Profile.

Saskatchewan is one of the easiest and best provinces to apply for Permanent residency in Canada because apart from quick processing time, the province doesn’t require a job letter from the applicants and also asks for a low IELTS score for selection.
