It is a whirlwind of invitation by Saskatchewan and in yet another pertinent change. The province of Saskatchewan has announced a new immigration pathway for international graduates who would like to start a business in the province. The foreign graduation should be equivalent to the post-secondary education in Saskatchewan.

This unveiling of the new International Graduate entrepreneur category happened on 3rd December 2019. Through this move, the province is trying to retain international students and help them integrate into communities easily. This move will also support the growth plan of the Saskatchewan for 2020 to 2030, where the focus is on getting as many skilled workers and entrepreneurial newcomers as possible. The new category opens the door for the full-time post-secondary degree or diploma program of two years.

• The minimum age of 21 years
• Post-secondary degree or diploma of at least two years in an eligible institution
• Should have lived in Saskatchewan for their academic program
• Graduated from a post-secondary institution in Saskatchewan which should be a designated learning institute by the Canadian federal government

👉 For applying to this program, one needs to adhere to the necessary steps:

• Submit the Expression of Interest (EOI)
• Achieve top score and get selected in EOI
• Get a valid PGWP and operate in a business and establish enterprise outlined in the BPA guidelines
• After meeting the BPA requirement, get the provincial nomination
