Prince Edward Island (PEI) invited 305 candidates in Express Entry, Labor Impact, and Business Impact categories. It was the largest PNP draw of the province where Express Entry, Labor Impact, and Business Impact categories were the selection streams.
The Prince Edward Island (PEI) released the draw details of two substantial draws held in August. One of them being the biggest draw of the program, which is the latest one - the draw of 20th August 2020.
On 20th August 2020, there were 305 invitations issued to the applicants in all the streams. Before this, on 11th August 2020, the program has provided just eight invitations in the express entry program and labor Impact categories
The latest draw invited applicants in the Express Entry, Labor Impact, and Business Impact categories. Out of the 305 invitations, 28 were in the Business Impact category. The remaining 277 Invitations were in the Express entry and labor Impact categories. The PEI PNP Program doesn't have a breakdown available of the number of Invitations issued in each category or the minimum EOI score required for selection.

PEI PNP has specified earlier that people who were currently living and working in Canada were the top priority for selecting the nomination. For this, those candidates who had filed the Expression of Interest (EOI) profile before June 2020 were liable.
The PNP express entry category is linked to the Federal Express entry system. To be considered for the PEI's provincial nomination, the express entry candidates should have an EOI profile.
It is for those foreign candidates who have a valid job offer in PEI and have support from their employer. There are three sub-streams of the labor Impact – Skilled worker, Critical worker, and International Graduate. Candidates in this category should also have an EOI profile to be considered.
The 28 Candidates who were selected in the Business Impact category should have a Points core requirement of 112. The invitations for the Business Impact category were selected through the work permit stream.
