There is good news for aspirants with Tech experience. In the latest draw conducted on Jan 15, the province of Ontario has invited 954 candidates for Canadian permanent residency. The candidates with the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System Score between 460 and 472 were provided with the notification of Interest (NOI).
The candidates who receive the NOI means that they are eligible for the provincial nomination. For selection, the Candidates with work experience are shortlisted. In the latest draw of the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program(OINP), the candidates with technological experience were selected. Ontario is the hub of the tech market in Canada with glorified cities like Toronto, Waterloo, and Ottawa.

To be selected in the tech, the candidate should have a profile created under the Federal Skilled Worker Class or Canadian experience class. Both of them are subcategories under the Express Entry Program. The OINP draw is conducted under the Human Capital Priorities Stream, and a job offer is not a mandatory category for selection. However, at least one-year work experience is essential in the required profile.
