Canada Express Entry Draw continues, invites 606 Candidates

In the latest express entry draw announced on 9 Apr 2020, the Canadian government invited 606 candidates with the minimum CRS score requirement of 22 points less than the score asked on 18th march i.e., 698. It means all those candidates with the CRS score of 698 will be shortlisted for the Permanent residency status of Canada.

Canada is holding regular draws despite the COVID 19 pandemic, and it has removed all the uncertainties regarding the immigration to the country. Although the CRS score requirement has increased immensely in the latest draws, On 1 Apr the IRCC announced that the draws are still being held and confirmed that the applications would continue to be processed in the future as well.

It’s the 8th Draw of the year, and with this Draw, the Total number of invites sent this year has reached 23, 206. Just like the other draws, the tie-break rule is applied for this Draw as well, and it is set on 18 Dec 2020, with 11: 29: 51 UTC.

The applicants who enter the express entry draw through the provincial nomination selection are eligible for 600 bonus points.
