In the latest 16th April draw of British Columbia, there is a list of 24 occupations that are not included. The draw invited 271 candidates in majorly Express Entry, International Graduate, and semi-skilled categories.
In the latest round of invitations sent on 16th April 2020 by British Columbia province, there were 271 candidates invited. Certain occupations were sent out in this draw as British Columbia is taking preventive measures because of the COVID 19 pandemic.
The latest COVID 19 has affected the immigration strategies of the Canadian government. However, it has not been able to affect the rate of the draw and the invitations being sent out in both federal and provincial scenarios.
In the latest draw, the 271 candidates invited were largely from Skill Immigration and expressed entry linked categories. The selection requirement varied depending on the subcategory of selection. Under the skilled immigration stream, the applicants were invited in the Skilled workers, International graduate and entry-level semi-skilled subcategories. The selection score in the Entry-level and also in the semi-skilled candidate's category was 85 points out of 100.
The candidates who had the accounts created in the federal express entry system they were shortlisted in the Express Entry Linked British Columbia category. These skilled workers were selected in the Express entry linked subcategory and also international graduate Subcategories. The minimum required provincial score was 105 and 102. The invited applicants are given exactly 30-days to start the documentation and further processing.
