In the latest British Columbia provincial Nominee draw, there are 90 applicants selected for skill immigration in the Express Entry BC and Skills immigration categories.

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Tech Pilot draw latest draw has invited 90 applicants in the Express Entry BC and Skills immigration categories on April 20. the Skilled Worker and International Graduate required a minimum score of 80 for selection. With this latest draw, the B.C. province has selected 3,531 immigration candidates in 2021.

British Columbia Tech Pilot Program

The BC PNP Tech Pilot program is a fast-track Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) that selects tech workers and international students in high-demand occupations. The applicant should be registered in one of B.C.’s existing provincial immigration streams to be considered in this program, and he should also have a valid and authentic job offer of a minimum of one year in one of the Tech Pilot’s 29 eligible occupations.

To apply for the Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC categories, the applicants need to have a profile created through the BC PNP’s online portal and register under its Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).

Applicants are selected and provided a score to determine that they will be selected from an invitation round. The score calculation is based on age, language, education, work experience, and a valid job offer from BC Province. The Tech Pilot Program conducts a draw every week. It is a pathway that was launched in 2017 and owing to its successful run; the program is provided an extension several times, most recently until June 2021.

B.C. Tech Pilot for Express Entry Candidates

Express Entry program selects candidates for nomination from B.C., and they are provided an additional 600 points score if they are selected through the nomination. These applicants are provided the Invitation To Apply (ITA) in the next federal Express Entry draw.

There are three streams under this program: Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class.
