The Canada Express Entry draw was announced on 1st May 2019 and asked for a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score of 450 points from the aspiring applicants for the Canada permanent residency visa.  That means all those candidates who secured 450 points or above they are eligible to migrate to Canada. The total number of invitations sent in this Express Entry Draw was 33,50

The Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score announced in this draw was one point less than the score asked in the April 17, Draw which was 451 points.  The latest draw was announced after a 14 days gap which is a general time frame taken by the IRCC. The Invitations asked is the same as last time 3,350. There has been a repeated pattern of 3,350 invitations being sent. With this draw the number of applications sent invites in the year 2019 has reached a number of 31,250 which is 6,750 invitations more than the same time last year. The increase in the number of invitations is because of the Canada Immigration Plan 2019 – 2021 as per which the there is a target of inviting 3,40,000 more permanent residents in Canada by the end of the year 2021. With this target of a large number of people being invited to Canada to immigrate there is an expectation of Express Entry Draw score dropping in the draws to come. In this draw, there will be Tie break rule applied which will help select the candidates which will consider the applications sent before 5 November and with the CRS score of 450 and above.

Case Senario:
Mansi is an IT professional and is looking for a Job in Canada. She has five year’s experience to her credit and is 30 years old. How can she migrate?

Ans - Mansi’s age and work experience are ideal for helping her secure a good point score in work experience and age category. She should start the process by undertaking an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) and IELTS examination. As she is an IT professional, the provinces of Ontario and British Columbia will suit her needs the best although IT professionals have a huge demand throughout Canada. It is wise to undertake the immigration process under the guidance of a good immigration consultant only.

Case Senario:

Rohit has secured five bands in IELTS, will he be able to migrate to Canada?

Ans – For Rohit if possible he should try and give IELTS again and secure a higher band. If that is not possible, then the migration will depend on the other factors coping up the low IELTS band score. Having adequate work experience and education can help increase the CRS score of the applicant. However, there are certain provinces as well which will accept the candidate with a low CRS score like Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia.
